They only guessed that because they also guessed Orphaned Land and you didn't register it :lol that one and Deftones are clear Trainy-tunes in the DTF book of roulettes

You really are the drunk hangymangy host!

In my defense I've been unusually busy today and fucked up my leg this morning so I've not been paying the best attention, but I was definitely drinking last night  :hat :lol

Edited to include Train, I totally missed that post.

Puppies is a Season of Mist kinda guy right? Maybe he sent Vulture Industries then? Though honestly Vulture Industries are a band that make me go 'why the fuck are they on Season of Mist?' they have so little in common with most of their roster.

It's ok dude, we all fuck up hangmen at some point in our roulette careers :lol

Holy shit just looking at this list, what a round :hefdaddy

Innuendo! You know what Stadler? You may not have won me over with The Prophet's Song in my roulette, but I started venturing into Queen a little bit after the roulette and Innuendo was one of the songs that I loved instantly, so you may not have done well, but in a way you won me over indirectly. :metal

Why thank you!   I could have sent Innuendo, in the sense that it is one of my top ten favorite Queen songs (along with The Prophets Song).   I'm glad you liked it!!

(If you're continuing the quest, I'd love to know what you think of Queen II in general and "Funny How Love Is" in particular).
Oh yeah I keep forgetting it's Prophets without the apostrophe :lol

I will probably post my thoughts in the album listen thread when I give it a listen

But I mean, TYS rule too, 10 points instantly eliminated from the roulette

That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

I saw Dokken and Night Ranger at a summer fair.  They both sucked.

Not even Vanden Plas could make Dokken sound good, but at least I liked the vocals on the cover they did.

I'm back!

Good to see The Road of Bones not doing too well, now I can just stop caring about my overall score and send all kinds of stuff in the second half of this roulette. :)

Not so fast.  IQ did well - better than half the songs in a round where I enjoyed pretty much every song.  Sometimes I still think I should've given it a 4 (sometimes I think that about Stadler's song too).  We're still in the early stages, and anything can happen.  I thought jingle was going to be one of the front runners until he decided to start on his path of self destruction. :P

I would strongly advise avoiding the bands mentioned on this page.  In general, I'd advise against bands that have a great guitar player that guitar players love, and yet suck.

(Of course, if they don't have a great guitar player but also suck, I wouldn't send those either...)

BTW, now that I'm hosting a roulette and have 5 more songs that are near and dear to your heart to score, Stadler, do you want to share your opinion about Grace Under Pressure again? I bet on the 2112th listen, it finally clicked for you, didn't it?

I coulda been a contender!

Meh... whatevs.  It's not often I get to expose people to the glorious music of the 70s and 80s.  In hindsight, The Rain Song or No Quarter might've been better Zeppelin choices.

How many rounds is this thing going again?  I might run the 2nd half with more appropriate modern prog-metal.

p/g is a wasted opportunity for one of my favorite bands, and a low point in the catalogue.
