No heavy metal, just hard rock albums!

This "rule" means different things to different people, and the line between is so fuzzy and subjective that it really doesn't have much meaning.  That said, here's my take based on what I would consider "hard rock":

1.  Pyromania (Def Leppard)
2.  Black Tiger (Y&T)
3.  The Great Radio Controversy (Tesla)
4.  Love at First Sting (Scorpions)
5.  In Rock We Trust (Y&T)
6.  Whitesnake (Whitesnake)
7.  Skid Row (Skid Row)
8.  5150 (Van Halen)
9.  Dusk (Badlands)
10.  Triumph and Agony (Warlock)

Let's see here.  Hard Rock only ehhhh?  Screw it, I'm only going post-2000s albums, because that's the way I always roll and I'm never really a fan of classic rock anyway.  I will always limit this list to not list duplicate bands.

1. Alter Bridge's Blackbird
2. Skillet's Comatose
3. Shinedown's Us and Them
4. Breaking Benjamin's Dear Agony
5. Daughtry's Leave This Town
6. Black Stone Cherry's Folklore and Superstition
7. Sixx: A.M.'s Prayers for the Blessed
8. Seether's Karma and Effect
9. Stone Sour's Audio Secrecy
10. Big Wreck's Albatross

Nothing  wrong with that.  Not at all.

I'm holding out; I'm in the process of putting together my top 50 albums, and I'll cull a list from that when I'm done.
