TBoS and SiT were the easy choices for me, I thought on voting for SiT twice :D Went with Seventh Son for the third one

NOTB, Piece of Mind, Powerslave. Amazing run.
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Surprised I'm the first one to vote for LAD - that IMO is *THE* quintessential live album of all time. It was my introduction to Maiden and many of the performances on it are superior to their studio counterparts. The other 2 I chose were Killers and SiT. If LAD wasn't on the list, I would've gone with PoM.
As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

Number Of The Beast and Brave New World were easy choices, 3rd one was tricky but went for Powerslave.

Are we just ignoring the Blaze albums by the way? I really liked X Factor, maybe not top 3 but better than a number of albums on that list imo.

The Book of Souls
The Number of the Beast

Third one I'm less sure of. Probably A Matter of Life and Death - that album was when I really started to get in to Maiden and I've listened it to it a lot more than the others.

A Matter of Life and Death
Somewhere in Time
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

The top two are set, the third was tough between 7th son and Powerslave.  I don't think The Book of Souls is terribly far behind either, but it's not cracking that top.

Piece of Mind

#3 is is where it gets hard, I don't want to go with the crowd and say SSoaSS, I don't think it is as strong as most Maiden fans seem to think, and there a few lows for me that bring it down from the extremely high highs. Maybe Books of Souls, I haven't listened to that it a while after playing it a lot when it was released. I am quite fond of the debut as well.

The first two choices were easy but the 3rd had heavy competition from Powerslave.

Surprised how many votes Somewhere In Time has. Wasted Years aside, it’s down there with No Prayer For The Dying as one of their weakest albums for me. Top 4 is no surprise though.
