Problems with enter/text wrapping?
« on: May 25, 2018, 09:17:18 PM »
Just today I've noticed an issue that when I do a carriage return for a new sentence or topic, the editor doesn't take that into consideration. I've looked for a setting on my end to fix this, and I can't find one. Am I just a dunce, or is there something wrong with the coding? I've also tried different themes to see if this fixes the issue, and I'm only having this issue on this page.

As in you can't create new lines?

Sorry for the late reply, XJ, but yes.
It might be some setting I haven't found on my end as of yet.  ETA--I did a carriage return for two lines on that reply just to test, and it only gave one. And as I've said, this is the only place I'm noticing it.

Doesn't seem to happen if you use the quick reply box. Also, try holding shift when pressing enter - looks like that does things properly.

There's a quick reply option?

There's an option in Profile > Look and Layout to toggle the Quick Reply box on and off.
