Very tough to leave Painkiller off the list. I had 3 songs for the last 2 spots.

I would say that the first 5 are probably my Top 5 JP Songs anyway.

Pretty close to Stadler's list. Personally, I always found Painkiller highly overrated. The entire album, actually.

This was surprisingly easy for me.

Beyond the Realms of Death and The Sentinel are my favorite priest tracks so those were easy picks.

Touch of Evil: As much as I like the song Painkiller I've probably given more listens to this one.

Heading out to the highway: My favorite from Point of Entry.

Blood Red Skies: This song doesn't get enough attention IMO.

Victim of Changes: The Sad wings version is good but this song always kills live.

Desert plains: one of the more catchier priest songs for me that gets stuck in my head easily.

So I keep checking my copy of Dreamer/Deceiver/Dreamer/Whatever and it seems my copy of Sad Wings is faulty, because the songs where it says those tracks should be blow.

Seriously, I don't get it. I mean, I understand the romanticism of an old deep cut with a nice solo, but this band has so many great tunes. This one is so far below par for them.

You and I are pretty close on these kinds of things, at least pointed in the same direction. But here?

As for Dreamer Deceiver, that part when Rob goes "He said in the cosmos is a single sonic sound..." I love that part. From there on out, the Sabbath vibe is REALLY strong, and that's a good thing in my book.

You know, Scorps, Thin Lizzy, UFO all have this type of song in their catalog. There's something about Rob's voice in early tracks like this that just come across as totally lame. I don't connect with it at all. The solo is nice, but this song lacks a strong enough melody for me.
I skip it almost every time.
