When Parama said all his songs are no older than 2015 I was already worried :lol It's probably Darken Waters.

Don't know what it is, but B4 is either Brent or Paul.

Should I be awarding some sort of bonus points or something?  ;)

EDIT :  Paul sent something off Syu - You Play Hard  :)

Hey, don't I get partial credit for B4? I said it was sent by either Brent or Paul. Seems Paul got it from Brent. The circle closes!

Paul may well have been onto it before I played it - he knows his Japanese metal.

I do tend to get a few boomerangs knocking me around in roulettes though  :lol

I started my Spotify thingie right around the time you did your best of 2016 (minus Seven Sisters) and I Saved a bunch of those artists at that time. Looking at something for 2016 for this roulette, I keep going back to those, thinking, I can't do that, that's embarrassing.  :lol

First of all, anything on the B&B podcast should be auto-banned.  Second, I'm gonna go easy on you - not that you need the help.  Third, considering you have yet to complete the B&B 2017 wrap up, there isn't a chance to "boomerang" anything back to ya.

Get on that last point, will ya?

When doing the collage I thought this would be harder given the obscurity of the artists.  I'll try and puts some hints to them tomorrow if some of the other guys are stuck also.

Some random thoughts while listening;

* This is some really cool and unique blend of styles that I've never really heard that is impressing me.

* Some of the leads here remind me why I started playing the guitar in the first place.

* I normally don't like these kind of vocals but I can't beleive how well they work with this track.

*Yeah, this one was never going to work on me.

* It has that modern sound but also reminds me of that Soilwork style that I like.

* This just reminds me so much of a Fates Warning track it's distracting me.

* Given the sender of this song, gotta say I'm surprised.

* Nice and brutal but on early listens it lacks some variety.

* Thought this was a lost track on a certain 1994 album when I first heard it.

When I took the sample from yours, after I added it in the collage I thought right away that the sample I took was almost impossible to tell from the full cover for some reason.  It's there though.

You are not one of these two, I'll say that.

I'm from Finland and so is Amendfoil, Parama got them from me in his last roulette :P

Since there's 15 songs, and not 15 snippets, some of us weren't even mentioned.  Of the comments made, by process of elimination, I think this (perhaps Soilwork - though I don't know their 'sound') is the only one that might apply to mine.

I guess I didn't really think about things like this.  I kind of misjudged that we are still early in the year.  Perhaps I'll allow very late 2017 releases also maybe if people are struggling.  Saying that, we've got a few weeks until we get to that round anyhow.

Don't be such a pussy.  People saw the rules before they signed up.  If people are struggling, let them struggle.

Buck the fuck up everyone.  We're all in the same boat.

I haven't heard much 2018 music and what I have is probably banned. So maybe I'll just edit the tags on a 2017 release  :rollin
