Arida Vortex - The Veldt..........I am guessing the most likely to know this band (being Russian) is Ruslan.  Another good release.

Ironically, Brent, this isn't my entry. I kinda struggled to find the artist for this round when I decided I don't want to send Orden Ogan (and this is the first time I hear about this Arida Vortex band  )

I would have sent Gilmour, but the round would have limited me to "Rattle That Lock" and that record is not at all heavy; it's sort of his blues record, and the one I like least of his solo works.

I thought Eldritch was banned.

This comes down to what I mentioned earlier.  Just because there is a band on my banned list, a lot of bands I've lost track of.  Eldritch I have one album from I think 1998 but that's it.  My banned list in my first roulette was very specific but yeah, if there is an artist on my banned list but I don't have a release from them in the last couple of years, then on my discretion, I'll allow it.  I'm just trying to make things a bit easier for everyone in terms of finding suitable submissions.  If there is a banned artist but the album isn't listed in the OP in correlation of the year, ask me the question.

Yes, Stadler is disadvantaged and he did send Noel G which I own.  I thought I would cut him some slack and as above, I didn't check out the Purple Album at all, so I'm interested.  Will that help and hinder his score, we'll see.

Kade did mention quite specifically in the rules that, in the 2015-2018 rounds only ,he would take songs from bands that were in the banned list but which he had lost track of in recent years (not in his albums owned list for those years).

This is powerful, raw and a band I want to hear more of.  The solo is fucking ripping.
