Hey, I just answered the question/poll.

Rammstein just isn't my thing. I get why people dig them - entertaining, powerful show. But much like Slipknot, I just don't get a lot out of Rammstein apart from the spectacle. They just aren't my thing.

I enjoy Rammstein. They have some really great songs. Besides the usual industrial stuff.

Yay for sure.

I don't listen to them quite as much as I used to, but whenever I return to them, I fall in love with the band all over again. There's actually plenty of diversity in their discography, albums like Mutter have their share of both aggressive shock rockers and some truly beautiful pieces of music. That's my favorite album of theirs, too, although I love Reise reise and Liebe ist für alle da as well.

I didn't vote because I'm not familiar enough with the music, but I kind of land here. I've watched some live youtube videos and they have a cool show and the music is solid enough. I've never listened to an album though.

Since "yes or no" is pretty boring, how about favorite song? I'm not a fan of ratings, but I'm sure this will become ratings soon enough.

I'd say my favorite is Mein Herz Brennt. I love that song plus the soft version of it.

I love Rammstein. I come from east Germany where those guys are from and West Germany alway kinda laughs about the former GDR BUT GUESS WHAT

I love their stuff. Fantastic lyrics, fantastic sound and production, amazing shows, it's so accurate and quadratic, so (sorry to say this) "German".

Rammstein are among my favorite bands.

They're musical, just not in a traditional sense. They're centered on rhythm and not much else. You won't hear harmonies and the melodies are bare bones, but that still qualifies. Myself, I never cared for them until I watched Volkerball. That's what actually showcases what they're trying to do. A concert that focuses on Til Singing or fancy guitar work completely misses the point.

Nice! From my experience most Germans hate Rammstein. I remember even watching a interview where Till Lindemann is asked why the band doesn't live in Germany, to which he answered: "Sie lieben uns nicht".

Just clicked on it. I actually have watched some of that show. It's spectacular for sure. Can't take anything away from that. But that's not how I take my metal.

Voted Nay. I like a handful of songs but for the most part they don't do anything for me. Live shows look cool but I would never pay to see one.
