That's right, it's my brother again.
Like me, his musical interests are varied and eclectic, and he's just recently launched his new electronic music project, Nested Shapes, with its first EP, Grain.

Nested Shapes is the electronic music project of London-based musician Peter Jones.
Peter previously built a name for himself in the progressive rock world, having been an original member of progressive metal giants Haken, and a current member of jazz fusion supergroup Nova Collective.
A growing passion for electronic music in recent years has culminated in the project Nested Shapes, where intricate grooves, detailed sound design and a rich harmonic palette take the listener on an immersive sonic journey.
My own take: The music is somewhere between John Hopkins and Max Cooper in style. Quite bleak and very intricately produced. He's put an absolute ton of effort into developing his production techniques and styles over the last year or two and the result sounds pretty amazing (though obviously I recognise the style won't be for everyone!). I've also had the privilege of hearing his stuff develop and some of earlier demos were quite different, and he has said he wants each release to be a bit different, so this is really just a starting point.
Highly recommended to anyone with an interest in electronic music. Also worth checking out even if you don't!
