How come forum "movement" annoys people? If you don't like the topic, you can simply ignore it. For me, the more new threads there are, the better. More movement, more discussion, more participation. If you have nothing to say, why don't you just ignore the thread? Simple. I can't understand why new threads would bother someone. It is far better than when nobody posts anything and the forum is dead.

On topic: no, I don't consider it metal.

For starters, "Cygnus X-1" is a multi-part "suite" or "song series" that exists in two "books" over two different albums.  I can't access Youtube at work, so I'm not sure where your link goes, but I'm guessing you're talking about about "Cygnus X-1, Book I: The Voyage."

On that assumption, and given that "metal" doesn't really have a clear definition, I'll say yes, for the most part, "The Voyage" is "metal."

You know I don't know.  I could see a case being made either way.  I don't think The Ace of Spades sounds all that metal to me, but Iron Maiden definitely does.
