I think I would still put it behind Rocks, Toys and Wings…but it’s better than everything that came after it.

Love this album, and love Enchant. I think I prefer Break, and I also really like Juggling 9 or Dropping 10, but this was an outstanding debut. I’ve always heard a little Fates Warning in their sound as well, partly due to Ted’s voice but maybe because they’re a slightly heavier version of Rush like you said.

Yes, I can definitely hear some Fates Warning as well...especially on their second album, Wounded. Always felt some of the vocal melodies could be sung by Ray Alder...

Continuing, for some reason, my Enchant rediscovery...Wounded is a good album taken by itself, but it felt like a bit of a disappointment after Blueprint. Starts pretty great with Below Zero (I remember seeing them open with it live when they supported DT), then the songs kind of settle on a relatively consistent tempo, without a ton of highlights within them. Nice melodies and great playing, just not quite as "bright" as the debut. Time Lost is somewhat of an oddity, given it's a collection of "leftovers", but I always enjoyed it. The pre-Blueprint songs are fun. I'm repeating myself, but Interact, in particular, always sounded to me like 80s Rush playing prog metal, perhaps with a couple of Marillion guest spots  ;D

Speaking of Marillion, somehow I found myself in the mood for Holidays in Eden. I know this is considered Marillion's "pop/commercial" album, but I've always been very fond of it. Doesn't reach the heights of Seasons End, or other top Marillion albums, but I have to say I enjoy it more than many of their more recent efforts. Also, semi-random observation: there are a couple of spots - second half of The Party, beginning of the title track - I feel could be at home on Rush's Presto or Roll the Bones...

It’s pretty much just as great as the previous two but less noisy/heavy but still very dark and intense.

Agree on Wounded being a letdown after the debut. Some songs I love (Pure, Look Away) but the overall sound is not great and some of the songs seem to be searching for a melody. I love Time Lost though. New Moon, Under the Sun, Interact are all top shelf Enchant songs, and the production sounds better to my ear than on Wounded.

Holidays in Eden is an album I’ve come to really appreciate. Some definite pop leanings but enough creativity and quirkiness for the album to defy characterization. It’s just Marillion.

I would get bored listening to the same stuff all the time.  I still listen to plenty of prog and metal, but I like broadening my horizons.  Sometimes its stuff I only visit once, but other times I discover gold.  Today has been all gold.

I don't know what the fuss is all about, this is a pretty solid release and I enjoy the little changes they did to some of the songs. The vinyl also sounds great.

Last one is Eneferens - "The Bleakness of Our Constant". One-man band. Great 2018 album of atmospheric black-metal (I guess?), in the vein of Agalloch, Alcest and others along those lines...Very melancholic sound, beautiful guitar melodies. One of the few cases where I wished the instrumental intro (Leave) were actually longer. Good stuff.
