I'm not sure I have an ear for it, but yes the Stortregn album is excellent, although the vocals are probably just past my comfort level. But musically, it's fantastic. I have it Saved in my Spotify.

Two metal classics, and two recommendations from nick_z

This was my first spin of Crimson II and it may be my favourite Edge of Sanity album that I've heard. It's more melodeath than the other albums of theirs I've heard. Great stuff!

Crimson 2 is almost as good as the first.  Superb sequel to an absolute classic piece.

Indeed.  For the record, that was his first self-titled (1991).

Now listening to his second album, also self-titled (1994).

BTW, Rick Beato just did a video on Kiss From A Rose that is INCREDIBLE, and on it he has a video chat with Seal.  Just a great video.  I already loved the song, but it really brought a new level of appreciation for me.

Coma of Souls might be my favorite Kreator. And Edge of Sanity is so good! My favorite of theirs is Purgatory Afterglow...

Only got half way through, my Spotify has been out of action since this morning  ???  which is frustrating. Liked what I heard though, good stuff.
