So, it was quite the chore, but I've managed to listen to this entire album 3 times now and I don't think I'll be going back to it very often, if at all. It's got a few nice riffs on it and there is nothing "bad" per se, it's just kind of there. And the first 3 tracks are almost like someone asked the band to come up with three "metal-cliche-filled-songs." And the rest of the album is only marginally stronger.

I love Todd's contributions to Queensryche and even Shadow Gallery but this is a pretty big swing and maybe not a complete miss, but it's close. 2.5 stars out of 5

This was the first album by him that I discovered when I was a child (and my second jazz album, after Spectrum by Billy Cobham), still my favourite RTF album.

This is a totally new find for me, thank you Amazon.com Music recommendations. I don't go for a lot of female-fronted metal, but this...the riffs alone are worth checking out, and it took me the first couple of tracks to get used to her voice, and I was kind of on the fence about her, but as the album kept playing I began to appreciate her more and more. They mix in a little bit of coarse vocals here and there, not enough to be off-putting for me, it's well executed and artistically consistent, meaning, it's used during the darker/heavier moments and the contrast between her and the growling is a little weird at first but I started liking it pretty quickly

it's funny because i love love hooky pop-y stuff. In fact a lot of my tastes would get me laughed outta here, lol

i don't why i don't love 90125. it's right up my street. but it never clicked as much.

i like Talk and Big Gnerator well enough. but i much prefer Howe in the band.

It's amazing mate. The mix of the music and vocals are intense and the lyrics are incredible too. I never thought about Ozzy era Sabbath but I get that. Intense album.
