It's funny how tastes change, 10 years ago when I heard morningrise I hated it; I just listened to it again a few weeks ago and it was pretty good.

Checking this out today at the recommendation of my buddy, so far it's like Boards of Canada if they used instruments given to kindergarten kids:

Kaki King, now that's a blast from the past! I remember seeing her on Conan's Late Night show back in the day. She was delightful, but I never sought out any of her music. Maybe I should?

I saw that too!

If you have time check out "Glow" it's her best acoustic instrumental album, really well written. "Dreaming of Revenge" is her second best album IMO and has more electronic influences, it's also fantastic. Her last two albums have been good but are geared more towards the visual show she was doing so they don't click as much with me.

It's a good album, I'll need a few more listens but I'll probably buy it at some point. Somehow doesn't feel long despite being almost 70 minutes! Perturbator's Theme and Complete Domination are kickass.
