That is the first Ozric Tentacles album I've ever heard; I might have to check out Technicians of the Sacred sometime.

It's a fine one, a double CD full of goodies. I mentioned it here because it's the 2015 album that preceded Space for the Earth.
If you like the band's sound there's a LOT more where that came from. They've been releasing music steadily since '85. My favourite era is the mid 90's, with albums like Jurassic Shift, Arborescence, Become the Other and Curious Corn.
If you prefer a more modern-sounding production I can recommend 2009's The Yumyum Tree. That was the one that grabbed me.
Human by Nature (prog-infused psychedelic metal): https://linktr.ee/hbnearth
Our debut album "Eläimys" is a trip I can whole-heartedly recommend to anyone into Pain of Salvation, Opeth, The Mars Volta, Magma etc.

Lady Gaga - Joanne
Joe Bonamassa - Royal Tea

How is the JB?
I haven't taken to any of the songs he's released from it yet, and I'm a big fan of Joe.

I loved it, personally, but it's the only record I've heard of his after Podaar got me into him with songs like Mountain Climbing and Drive, which I still think are better than all the songs on Royal Tea, but Royal Tea was still a super fun record with great playing and strong hooks. No idea how it compares to the rest of his records of course, but I liked it a lot.

I only listened to it once but I thought it was pretty great. Slightly more consistent than the previous one which I loved. I thought the previous one had a kinda weak ending (excluding Piano Burning which I don’t count) but they kept 2 of the best tracks for the end on this one.

Dragon metal intensifies. This week was fun

Now it's Soul Secret's new album, Blue Light Cage. Musically this is awesome but the singer sucks and ruins the whole thing

Biffy Clyro - A Celebration of Endings arrived today. Definitely better than Ellipsis.

ALSO

Listening to : U2 : All That You Can't Leave Behind 20th Anniversary. I'm sure they've uncompressed the album. It sounds way better to me.

Walk On is still gorgeous. The bass guitar is definitely louder in this mix and it sounds a bit more like the Achtung Baby mix overall.

But yeah - to my ears it sounds way less compressed than the original mix. Some parts jump out way more.

Ithaca by Black Fate. Prog metal, maybe prog-power metal, but I guess more prog. Singer is a dead ringer for young Roy Khan. This is a good album

I don’t know why ATYCLB being 20 years old (more than that now I guess) in particular makes me feel old, but it sort of does.

Never heard of them until this one came out but I'm really digging it. Big early Kamelot energy and the ballad is like they wrote A Sailorman's Hymn Part 2. And the next song has some freaking great keyboard playing. You'll probably like it a lot!

err did they lose a guitarist or something? where the hell did all the melodies & leads go? why is the production so gummy and limp? where the hell are the hooks? I only made it halfway thru this tbh this feels like a HUGE step down though and i can't fathom why

99.99% certain this is my album of the year. Sounds as amazing right now as it did all of the other times I have listened to it.
beul ni teh efac = Lube In The Face / That has to be wrong.  :lol / EDIT: Oh, it's Blue! I'm an idiot.
Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history

Vasilis Georgiou.  Did no one send you Sunburst in any of your Roulette's?  Surely Ruslan did.  Also, he appears in that Project Aegis track I sent you last year - Angel in the Ashes.
