:tup  I enjoyed Precambrian more than I thought after reading comments on The Ocean thread.  I have only just discovered this band a few weeks ago.

This morning:

1. Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool (amazing)
2. Ozric Tentacles - Space For The Earth (really good psychedelic instrumental rock stuff, probably my favorite of the style I've heard this year)
3. Future Islands - As Long As You Are (I thought this was pretty good synthpop stuff but not everything's terribly interesting, singer is cool tho)
4. Tom Misch - What Kinda Music (okay alternative/indie stuff, back half has more jazzy interesting stuff)
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

I don't get Radiohead. I don't get them, and I don't get why I don't get them. They should be right up my alley given my tastes, my enjoyment of bands that clearly took a lot of influence from them, and how much acclaim they get. I've listened to OK Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows, and none of them really resonated with me much. Though I did like an odd song here and there like Videotape and How To Disappear Completely.

Symphony X - The Divine Wings Of Tragedy

I listened to The Accolade this morning when I went to work, such a great song.

The Accolade is their best song IMO. It's the one that initially made an impression on me.

Yeah it could very well be their best song at this point. I need to dig more into their discography though.

I've been jamming to Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes' Live At The Greek all day today, ever since discovering its existence about 24 hours ago in another thread. It's very quickly cementing itself as one of my absolute favorite live albums ever. :metal

I heard Bulb (Misha Mansoor) had a new album out just a couple days ago so... I looked it up and found 9 other albums he put out under the Bulb name this year. WTF. Okay, guess that's what I'm listening to for the rest of today/tomorrow/the next day unless I don't enjoy these and skip them  :lol

Was Electronic by Bulb, now it's

One of my favorite go-tos for chill background music. I believe I found this through Puppies, but I can't remember how. I absolutely love the three-track combo of Forgiveness + Mountain King + Wave Cascade.

Since Google Play stopped being a thing, I started using a new music player app on my phone and didn't realize it would just keep playing album after album.  Sooo I started with:

Nightwish - Human II Nature

and since it just kept playing and I had no reason to stop it...

Nightwish - Imaginaerum
Nightwish - Oceanborn
Nightwish - Once

and now onto because I finally had to stop it under the "other" folder which had a bunch of b-sides, many of which I don't care to listen to...

Nightwish - Wishmaster

Brent got me onto that Lethal album.  It rips.

Sword is one that's always been on the checkout list.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.
