I peed next to Ian Mosley and Mark Kelly
Derek Sherinian probably stands 10 feet away from the urinal, shoots from downtown, and announces loudly that he's making history.

Not got round to this yet. I'm thinking it won't be one to put on in the background while I'm working.

Ya know, it really sucks the only time your 6-pack is a perfect score (for me) is after someone dies.   :|

I did the same listening the other day, and am now in the midst of Van Hagar era.

God I swear this is one of the best albums I've heard of the last few years, definitely my favorite pop album by any measure. Taylor Swift rules

Now it's Red. Finally checking out her earlier stuff. Holy f this is good

It's pretty much the only band that sings in actual Russian language I listen to for some reason. Caught them opening for Pain of Salvation a few years ago and been a fan ever since. This is their new album and I think it may be their best tbh, really enjoying this aside from the intro-title-track and the last two tracks which are pretty much the bonus ones. Tracks 2-12 are stellar. It might end up in my Top 3 this year. Recommended for anyone who doesn't mind Russian lyrics and likes epic prog metal with somewhat Ayreon-ish vibe (at least two singers, lots of woodwinds).
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

ah so you did the Hagar years. Great. May I suggest you add in Right Here Right Now and their contributions to the soundtrack to Twister? They're out there on YT. Great stuff too.

No need to suggest it.  I got both ('96 Best of that is - not the actual Twister Soundtrack) when released, and have spun them many many many times.

and III wasn't awful, but I don't see it being something I come back to.  Couple of decent tracks, but it seems like it got confused in trying to be Van Halen + Grunge, and ended up not failing at being good at either.
