Nirvana - Unplugged. This is easily the beat Nirvana album.

I'm not a Nirvana guy, but that album is amazing!
I think the Alice in Chains - Unplugged album is better (Alice in Chains is just better in general), but that Nirvana one is still good.

That's probably my second favorite. I feel like it was more inconsistent compared to Nirvana's.

It basically comes down to the vocals, which can always be a tricky thing. I can't listen to Layne Staley in that setting, but somehow can manage through Kurt Cobain.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

If you're a fan you should check it out, the drummer at the time (can't remember his name) really shines there.

I've never really been a Pearl Jam band. I respect the hell out of them, and I really wish I liked their music more.

I remember seeing them on one of the first MTV Unplugged shows.

And yes, their first drummer was a beast!

Pretty sure that was Dave Abbruzze.  Played on Vs and Vitalogy.  Great performance.

Vespero - The Four Zoas
ambient / space rock / experimental / some other bullshit idk

Still early on but pretty interesting trippy stuff out of Russia, apparently. Digging it!

Also these this morning:

I almost sent "Hawaii 78, and White Sandy Beach, from this album for the roulette. What do you think of them?

Really torn on this album, there are some great songs and some really terrible songs on it. Goffery Moore has some great guitar tone here.

Lovely music, very relaxing. Honestly I think the whole record would pair well with some Jimmy Buffett for that kind of relaxed, feel good, weekend vibe music. I really enjoyed it and will come back to it, same with the Carlos Nakai record.

It is a CHVRCHES kind of Tuesday morning, ya'll.

I love all three, but I think Every Open Eye is my least favorite, right now. Bones has this awesome raw energy of early CHVRCHES, Lauren's voice is just a bit shrill sometimes (not in a bad way, just compared to later stuff) which reminds me of the indie band The Joy Formidable from the UK. The male vocals aren't that great but they're rare so they add a bit of a charm to the music. Every Open Eye is a great record but is so long, especially the extended version. Love Is Dead is more in line with Bones imo, in sound and it's also a bit shorter. Damn I love this group to death. Should be time to hear about a new record soon enough, yeah? :)

This Will Destroy You - Vespertine (ambient/post-rock) - good stuff but it's just spacey synth pads, literally almost nothing else. I like it, I'll have to listen to it at home around all my lights + at night for full effect probably

Magnus Karlsson's Free Fall - We Are The Night (power metal) - decided to revisit. Hitting me way harder than the first time. Fucking good power metal! Typical MK sound but the singers deliver the goods.
