Listened to this just now. It may be a bit presumptuous to say this after hearing it for the first time, but this is one of the greatest albums of all time. Bridge Across Forever is great, Suite Charlotte Pike is amazing, and Stranger in Your Soul seems a bit erratic but still incredible nonetheless. And then there's Duel with the Devil, which as of right now, I would call it one of the greatest songs of all time; it's up there with songs like Visions, Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, and perhaps even Octavarium. For a long time I called this my favorite album. It might still be, but I don’t necessarily think of it that way anymore, but mostly because of competition.

I can see myself calling this one of my all-time favorite albums, but I'm not sure it could beat, say, Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.

I quite liked it. It reminded me of Within Temptation’s Silent Force album. Very different from their earlier style.
