Glad you enjoy it. Hopefully you like the last 2 songs more than I do, I think they kinda suck, atleast compared to the 9 others.

stuff from last night
protest the hero: it's good. i still miss when they were bursting with creativity on kezia and this plays things a little safe but it had some really strong stuff almost immediately all the same and i'll probably pick it up
hail spirit noir: they do different stuff every album and my first impression of this one is that it's super cool, maybe a bit cheesy with the synths they're using but i enjoyed it a lot
phoebe bridgers: a lot more diverse and consistent than stranger in the alps, though i don't know if it has the same peaks. was an enjoyable late night listen all the same

music's good actually

How We Live - Dry Land. Steve Hogarth’s short lived band before he joined Marillion. A nice slice of 80s goodness that isn’t too far off from H era Marillion at points (with Dry Land being an obvious touch point). Hogarth sounds excellent on this.

Listened to this just now. It may be a bit presumptuous to say this after hearing it for the first time, but this is one of the greatest albums of all time. Bridge Across Forever is great, Suite Charlotte Pike is amazing, and Stranger in Your Soul seems a bit erratic but still incredible nonetheless. And then there's Duel with the Devil, which as of right now, I would call it one of the greatest songs of all time; it's up there with songs like Visions, Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, and perhaps even Octavarium. Truly amazing album, I will absolutely be giving it more listens.
