Iron Maiden - A Matter of Life and Death
Havok - V

Waiting for the followup to this album. Harsh vocals, but lyrics mostly can be understood.  That damn sax :heart

I’ll have to check that one out. For some reason, I’ve only REALLY sat down and listened to Elizium and Mourning Sun and I love them both.

RATT - Detonator

When I was in high school, I bought a used car and it had a Detonator cassette stuck in the deck. It drove my friends crazy, but I loved every minute of it and never got sick of it bahaha.

I uh... I'm listening to Kenny Chesney's new album, Here and Now.  :lol

Now I'm listening to Jimmy Buffet - Boats, Beaches, Bars, and Ballads. First time listening to Jimmy Buffet. Finished disc 1 and then listened to Margaritaville. I actually really like this. So relaxing.

Listening to this now. Pretty cool! Kinda reminds me of Mastodon.

I decided to spend the day in my man cave ripping some vinyl to FLAC. I just finished Bruford’s second album One of a Kind, and currently in the middle of Camel’s 5th album Rain Dances.

I didn't expect to listen to 72 Jimmy Buffett songs today, but I did. I also think that's a record for most songs I've ever sat through on a compilation.

I am not sure I could have done that, but maybe if I was drinking the whole time.

Did you listen on purpose or were you forced?

:lol A friend of mine linked me to a compilation after I inquired about where to start; I needed something to listen to this morning and just kept going. I actually like pretty much everything here, and saved most of the songs (probably 50 of them, at least) to my library. This lazy, restrained, airy beach vibe is a big mood. And weather impacts how much I enjoy certain styles of music; it's cool and the perfect temperature outside right now which matches this music, so I'm just loving it.

And just as I typed that, a saxophone came in. Yeah, this is awesome. I'm so playing this on the weekends at home.
