Wanted a bit more of jazz in my life, thought to give this classic a try. It's surprisingly accessible and lots of fun! I'm also floored how fantastic this sounds on stereo despite being from 1959.

If you haven't already, get you on some Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. Mingus' magnum opus IMO and I'm sure not many would disagree.

Grimes - Miss Anthropocene

Literally the only thing I know about this woman is that she is (was?) dating Elon Musk. That's it. I'm 5 songs in (out of 15) and am actually enjoying this a lot. Super electronic artsy pop stuff but way headier than I expected

DT: Dramatic Turn and DT12 (both in High res for the first time, and I can say: Man, what a difference. Far more comfortable to the ears than the CD versions, made me love my two alltime favourites by DT even more)

Why do we abbreviate "self-titled" as "s/t" instead of "s-t"? :justjen

She hails from my home on Long Island. And every 40-something guy, whether they dug the music or not, wanted a piece of Mariah at some point.  :lol

I'm more concerned with Katt's love of the Backstreet Boys.  ??? :eek :omg:

I have absolutely no guilty pleasures. I like what I like :) I'm not like a scholar of their music or know a lot of deep cuts or anything, but the hits are legitimately good stuff. 90s had the best pop music imo. Takes me back to my childhood. I shared a room with my older sister for years, and was subjected to a lot of it. Hated it back then, but I have no problem admitting I love most of it today.

What the hell is this? Who's Victor Smolski? An ex-NASCAR driver turned heavy metal musician? :lol

:lol :lol Victor Smolski is apparently a guitarist who used to be in the band Rage. Now, I don't like Rage, and I have never heard of Victor Smolski outside of one particular friend who is obsessed with him, but honestly, it's kind of fun!
