I think you’d like parts but not the whole thing tbh

The logo for that band looks like it sounds like the static channel on a TV

 :lol
I can’t even read this already knowing what it should say. Blood Incantation
Based on your roulette submissions and the vibe I get from you I would stay the fuck away from this :lol
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

I've learned over the course of my life to avoid bands with those logos. However, based on the Cyrilcore I've been listening to lately (and loving!), who knows. I sent all my roulette submissions before discovering that stuff though. Maybe I should revise my submissions :lol
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Farmer in the City is probably his best song. So dark, but also beautiful.

I agree, it's either that or this Walker Brothers oddity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhQbT65qIJY

Both are incredibly atmospheric and among my favourite songs of all time.
Human by Nature (prog-infused psychedelic metal): https://linktr.ee/hbnearth
Our debut album "Eläimys" is a trip I can whole-heartedly recommend to anyone into Pain of Salvation, Opeth, The Mars Volta, Magma etc.

Been listening to the two Beast in Black albums. My brother got me them for Christmas. I’d never heard of them so put them on for a couple of minutes a few weeks ago and decided I wouldn’t like them.  Been giving them a proper listen though in the last couple of days and enjoying them a lot. Yes it’s not highbrow stuff, pure cheesy melodic heavy metal but they’ve got one hell of a singer. There’s songs which I thought were male and female duets and it’s the same guy singing both parts. Huge range from Halfordesque screams to broadway show singing, to folky female singing. The Astonishing would’ve been interesting with this guy, not that it wasn’t with our own JLB of course, but this guy could’ve really accentuated all the different parts, females included.

Really good album.  It would be difficult for me to pick my favorite from the PT albums, but this would be on the list.

I think Pup sent me a song by that guy in my last roulette but it was a horrible choice to send. Farmer in the City I think. I feel like that's not a good representation of his style or sound. How is that one? I think another one was posted on the last page, but that one has FITC on it.

His first albums are really nice, soft, with a baroque pop style. The latter records, like this one, are uuuhhh... weird-ass, ambient, industrial, atonal singer / songwriter stuff. Lots of fun :lol . I'd go with one of the former, give Scott 4 a listen, it's quite nice.
