The Anciients - Voice of the Void is a really solid album.  They should be coming out with another album soon.  It would benefit them if they could tour with another band to help exposure.

I need to revisit it, good album. This year has been good, although I think 2014 and 2015 are my favs of the decade.

2015 is probably my second favorite. Maiden, Symphony X, Kendrick, Sufjan, Death Grips, Mgla, Batushka, Björk, Chelsea, Beach House, Leprous, Steven Wilson, Ghost, etc...

2015 was really damn good
i'm inclined to say 2011 was my favorite off the top of my head but i'd have to go check. it's almost certainly 2015 if it isn't 2011 though.

Damn, I wasn't expecting this quality from this album at all - really creative, fun bitpop, with hits of glitch / dream pop and chiptune. What a pleasant surprise.

Another record I wasn't expecting much from, damn. This is some really really solid progressive house, techno stuff with some ambient and downtempo here and there. Very fun, sometimes beautiful. Great coding music. I'll prob listen to the whole thing (it's almost 5 hours long, this is just a best-of) one day.
