Converge - You Fail Me

Damn, this record is absolutely crushing - the songwriting is very elaborate, chaotic, and surprisingly varied. Not accessible at all though.

tried listening to some of that last week but it's just bog-standard melodic black metal to my ears, doesn't have anything blut aus nord-y about it
granted i got bored and didn't sit all the way through it so maybe i missed something, but then i wasn't huge on any of the blut aus nord i own to begin with so they might just not be for me anyways

The new Lacuna Coil album, and I'm quite shocked at how good it is. It could very well be a gamechanger for them.
