Potentially controversial but it's my second favourite Opeth album

I love it.  And I also love everything they've done after that.

Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of what came before, as well.

This album  :hefdaddy I have so much history with this! Cram, I'd love to get your opinion on these guys.

Checked this out while doing some work just now, it's some solid music.  I think I would have loved this if I heard this 15-20 years ago when I loved this music.  I've never heard of them before, are they new?  This singer sounds like the guy from Buck-O-Nine (who I haven't lsitened to in 15 years  :lol )

No, no, this album is from the early 00's. They are still going but the UK ska punk scene was incredible back then. Loads of great bands but I doubt any of them were even on the American radar. I get what you mean, I don't listen to much new ska punk now so I'm not sure they'd impact me much nowadays either. You're just one of the only guys around here who loves ska punk as much as me. If you ever fancy trying any other UK ska punk bands from the early 00's then I'd highly recommend Sound for the Pound by Capdown, it's just pheonomenal

I'll second that... Watershed was my first Opeth album and I went backward from there.  For me it's tied with Blackwater Park and about half of Ghost Reveries for #1.  Honestly haven't listened to the new stuff for personal reasons.

Back to the OP:

Andy James: Arrival
Joe Bonamassa: Live at Vienna Opera House
Marvin Gaye: What's goin' on
LTE 2 (mostly Hourglass)
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."  Ecclesiastes 12:13

Now with Twitler taking a high end steak of this caliber and insulting the cow that died for it by having it well done just shows zero respect for the product, which falls right in line with the amount of respect he shows for pretty much everything else.- Lonestar

Yea true, I think it would be cool if this band came and toured the US with someone like LTJ or something.  And yea, you and I are the only ones here into this kind of stuff so I appreciate the suggestions.  I know the Skints made their way to the US so that was a good suggestion in the past.
