Boucle Infinie - 直線移動

This is the same guy behind The Algorithm but this is way better than anything I've heard from that project

Decided to give this a spin purely off the cover. I've listened to a bit of The Algorithm, and he didn't really do anything for me at all. Think I may have even seen him live, In support of someone like Haken.

Anyway, this is not bad so far.

It's a bit of a grower. And I think the last three songs are the best ones.

What kind of music is that?

It has some rock bits but it's mostly electronica / synthwave. Beep boop music.

The Warning - a trio of sisters from Mexico who do some nice Rock.

I'm still hung up on this and the album that came before it. I cannot believe that they were 14, 16 and 18 when they released this specific album in 2018. Really looking forward to their third album coming out this year.

Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history

More of my compilation from Concept Album Month.  Still got at least 50 more to go, so methinks it's spilling over into July

How's that Sixx A.M. record?

Nikki Sixx, both in Crüe and out, is someone I WANT to like but the music just never seems to rise above adequate.   I read the Heroin Diaries; they were harrowing (Navarro has something similar, too), but I'm always disappointed when I dig in further.

I dig it a lot.  Prayers for the Blessed/Damned is something I also like, but it's got a little bit of filler to it.  I haven't checked out anything else by him under Sixx A.M.

Great new album by Seattle rocker Ayron Jones.  Cool 90's rock vibe.

Blackish metal featuring a saxophone. Really neat and interesting.

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Yea I liked it. Not sure it will crack my top 20 of the year but it's definitely in with a shot. That album cover is beautiful though.

Your listening lists are fascinating. Do you pick things at random?

sort of.  When I'm listening at home (most of my listening), I go through an album then on the last song of the album I switch the player to random so that the next song is on a new album, then I start whatever album that is from the beginning.  I do try to listen to albums that I may not have heard in a while, so if it's an album I've heard recently, I may click a few time to get to a different one.  When in the car I have a preselected set of albums, usually favorites, that I cycle through.  So from that batch I posted, the Toto, Magnum, and Seventh Wonder were car listens.

That is kind of neat.  I'm always impressed by the sheer volume of listening you are able to get through.
