Steve Von Till - No Wilderness Deep Enough
Allan Holdsworth - Metal Fatigue
Allan Holdsworth - Atavachron
Human by Nature (prog-infused psychedelic metal): https://linktr.ee/hbnearth
Our debut album "Eläimys" is a trip I can whole-heartedly recommend to anyone into Pain of Salvation, Opeth, The Mars Volta, Magma etc.

ah, great ones by Allan, some of my favourites by him (along with Secrets, which I'm listening to right now. Before that was D/T and DT12)

Aye, it's all fantastic stuff. My first love, The Sixteen Men of Tain, still has a special place in my heart though. There are too few albums with Gary Novak drumming on them!

Spinning some 2020 releases over the last few days. Some new, some relistening

Unleash the Archers - Abyss  I'm not a big fan of Power Metal but this is a fun album, great playing a she's is among the best voices in the scene

John Petrucci - Terminan Velocity

Psychonaut - Unfold the God Man

Pain of Salvation - Panther

Rannoch - Reflections Upon Darkness - still my favorite 2020 release. Waiting for the new The Ocean album to take the top spot

Aleah - Aleah

The Pineapple Thief - Version of the Truth

Didn't see that HM coming. NOt in my favourite MSG albums. The first half dozen are his best work.

quite a bit. Although there are more albums I listen to daily as well. Like Jazz From Hell or any Sade album. I like to keep it fun (and even my brain needs a rest from complex music at times :D ) Some Yes albums are easy to digest too, so they tend to rotate too. (not TFTO though :D ) Toto is part of my daily rounds of listening too btw. That's variety for you I guess.

That’s funny 😀

Don’t remember ever having listened to it before. There was a whole batch of his albums after Save Yourself that I gave virtually no time to.

I remember seeing the singer on a live video with MSG and he was fantastic. Great voice.

Dementia is well and truly settling in.

The Caretaker - Everywhere at the End of Time

First time listening to it in full - the ending of stage 6 just crushes me every time. Stages 1 and 2 are gorgeous. Stage 3 so far is similar but glitchy, a bit more chaotic but also spacey.

This album is some fantastic cold Atmospheric Black Metal.

The track Ich Starre has parts (mostly the guitars) that remind me of Devin Townsend - Deadhead.
