Second listen, dunno. I know it's a classic, but there's something about the beats I don't find very engaging. Also the production is kinda poor, with some of the interesting sounds mixed very low - guess that's just the aesthetic. I think I just prefer the sound of contemporary hip-hop a lot more.

On repeat for the last few days.  I just can't get enough of Christian Woman - I love that song.  Finally getting around to checking out the band's last three albums as well, which I have never done before.

World Coming Down, Life is Killing Me, and Dead Again are all fantastic albums!! They all have their own unique charm. I'm still bummed about Peter's passing, I feel like they had at least 2 more great albums in them.

Buddy and Elite both sent me songs from this album in my roulettes, and Elite sent me a song from their first album too. God this band is good. One of the coolest prog metal bands I've heard in a long time and this album (Applause of a Distant Crowd) is just fantastic.  Highly recommended :hefdaddy
