That Violent New Breed album is one of very few albums I bought, listened to once and threw in the bin in disgust

I was a massive fan at the time and the total change in style was a real WTF moment .

Only now started getting into Thom's solo stuff - very cool and chill synths and glitchy beats. Kind of reminds me of Amnesiac / Hail to the Thief era Radiohead.

I always love checking out the Big Hath 6-pack, but I honestly don't think I've ever seen 6 albums where I thought all of them were killer (for my tastes at least). Most of the time, there's at least one 'odd-duck' in the bunch - which is part of the appeal why I always come in here to check them out.

i was actually sitting and comparing & contrasting the original and remaster and

i gotta say

the remaster sounds kinda bad. the general sound is less punchy and somehow more muddled than the original. there were a few touches i thought the remaster did better but it also feels like they drenched the entire album in reverb for no good reason. i dunno. i was surprised at how different the original sounded compared to the remaster, after listening to the remaster for the first time. it's weird to me that there's even a debate as to which one is better

anyways i bought wildlife too also no sleep records has a sale on CDs going on right now, I got 6 CDs for $21
