& now Symphony X's latest album is on the board. Personally I do enjoy this album, but I think it's a step down from their past 2 albums. Don't get me wrong, I do like the overall tone & pacing of the album, & the production is some of the best of their career (despite being DR5
), but I just don't think the individual songs stand as well on their own (aside from the excellent 2 singles & some of the later cuts). With that in mind, there are quite a few songs I could vote for right off the bat, but I think I'll just go with the obvious one, just so we can get it out of the way.
