Rik Emmet claiming his right of first night?
"Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are God. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are God.” — Christopher Hitchens

So wait, we're spelling it wrong and king is spelling it right? What is going on here? :lol -- BlobVanDam

So the guy on the right is one of my best friends from high school. In the late 90's Rik Emmet would allow local people to put on a "Grass Roots" shows around the country, where he would come in and play a small gig. Well, my friend Dan put on a couple. We saw him in a small accoustic room at Berklee. Rik loved the room so much, he ended up coming back to record his Live At Berklee album. On the liner notes, he thanks Dan Bolton. Well, that's my buddy in the picture.

Anyway, Dan flew Rik down to sing at his wedding in 1999. He played a mellow song off one of his solo albums. He basically flew in with his guitar, and flew back to Toronto right after. But he was cool. Dan arranged for us to get some pics. He was really concerned about bogging Rik down with that kind of thing, but we got hooked up. He never told me how much it cost him, but I know it wasn't cheap. First Class plane tix and Limo to and from the airport. In fact, you can see the limo in the background. Dan arranged for us to get pics right before Rik took off.

Tim, your Photoshop skills are on fleek.

That's an actual picture!

I call bull-shit.  That's not DisneyWorld in the background.  :lol
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".
