FYI, I did not send The Cure, though Disintegration is by far my favorite album by them (which isn't saying much; I was impressed by the live show, though).  There's a lot of respect there, it's just not my thing.

Now that I think about it, Legacy may be the more appropriate album to introduce somebody to Shadow Gallery, even though it's my least favorite next to their debut album.

Not me. I don't know much about what everyone else likes. Plus I did a search and The Cure was on Parama's banned list so that's why I guessed Parama first.

Given everything at least one listen so far. Interesting. Snippets tomorrow, but results won't be til Sunday, sorry folks.

Just for my own reference, for the next roulette (in the far-off future):

- less lenient scoring, will use the full 1-10 scale, no punches pulled, put on your big kid pants and deal with it
- themed rounds (ties in with less lenient scoring)
- considering scoring multiple aspects of an album per round to spice it up
- eliminations throughout roulette
- probably album format again

If I were to ever do an album roulette, I would still try to rank each song individually, then just average it out to get a full album score.

Not that I'll ever do one, because each round would have to take at least a couple of weeks for me to give the albums a fair quantity and quality of listens.

I'd be the same way - would need several weeks per round.  Unless I only had 2 participants, I suppose. So mine will be a song roulette.  Not sure about themes yet, but I have time still to decide.
