Hard to say if VD was Lethean double-dipping on the Italian Power Metal, or Puppies riding his coat-tails.  If I had sent them, it likely would've been Destination Set to Nowhere.  Surprised it's something from the Luppi era, and not Lione - given Kattoe's mad love comments about Rhapsody in Puppies' roulette.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

I'll update shortly but I threw Lethean a bone with that one. The Dream Maker is easily my favorite VD song from what I know but anything with Fabio on it is banned because I like everything with Fabio singing.

That said, it is power metal, and I did beg not to get power metal, but we'll see where it ranks among these others...

Bonobo by home (I know it was already guessed but maybe you missed it)
Alan Parsons by jingly.boi
Matthew Good could be a Stadler artist but I'm not sure
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

This is almost the same situation we had in Championship roulette by the way, only now it's Stadler competing against Sacul's Kashiwa Daisuke with the fogey song (I sent Joan Baez in Championship roulette and lost)
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Nope. The home - Bonobo guess was correct though, I did miss that.

(?) Matthew Good - Avalanche
(Parama) East of the Wall - The Apologist
(ariich) Frost* - Milliontown
(?) The Alan Parsons Project - Eye in the Sky
(Evermind) iamthemorning - Lighthouse
(Lethean) Vision Divine - Stream of Consciousness
(?) Moon Safari - Live in Mexico
(home) Bonobo - Migration
(Stadler) Jethro Tull - Songs From The Wood
(Sacul) Kashiwa Daisuke - Program Music II

I will say, so far, one of the players who's been in the middle of the pack may have finally earned their top score...

Also if this ends in a tie - which it might, I really should have chosen a more thorough scoring method but whatever - then I'll award bonus points to everybody. Half wishing/not wishing for this though. :neverusethis:

Give me extra points for my alternate submission.  :)

(For the record, I didn't submit "alternate submissions".   I have been promising/threatening to send Kattoelox a Kiss album, and was I not tied for first, he would have gotten "Music From... The Elder" instead.)

Stadler, if anything, I'll take away points for even thinking of sending me a KISS album.  :lol

No, but really, I like to listen to anything and everything people recommend me (Sacul, bless his heart, gave me a big list of artists to check out post-roulette). I'll listen to that one particular KISS album hopefully soon. :)

EDIT: Listening to the Guardians of the Galaxy playlist on Spotify and boy are there some sick tunes in there. Genuinely surprised Stadler didn't send ELO, or Sweet.

It's not so much double dipping, as it was me finding out kinda by accident that he wasn't really familiar with Luppi, so I figured I may as well send that.  I didn't think he would listen to it otherwise.

Well, you're not wrong, I did go 16 years without exploring them :neverusethis:

I've heard every album at least once, and most twice, so far. I'll share the first impressions I wrote down either tonight or tomorrow, but someone has impressed me big time for their final submission, and I didn't really expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

I've already decided who the ultimate winner is... but that's a secret for now. Here's the full list since I forgot to finish it:

(Puppies_On_Acid) Matthew Good - Avalanche
(Parama) East of the Wall - The Apologist
(ariich) Frost* - Milliontown
(Tomislav95) The Alan Parsons Project - Eye in the Sky
(Evermind) iamthemorning - Lighthouse

I'm going to try to get the results up by tomorrow night instead of Monday, since I've been able to squeeze a lot more listens in than I expected. I have an idea for the final scoring though...

Would anyone be opposed to an exciting scoring for this last round? The #1 spot is a 10 to me already (I know what it is), so they'll get 10. But #2 would get 9, and #3 would get 8... #10 would get 1 point. This would make the results far more interesting instead of knowing one of two or three people.

Or we'll just go as normal... oh, and snippets: :soon:

I feel like I should have done that scoring system the whole time since I hate giving numbers like that to the albums when it'd be easier to just rank from most favorite to least. Next time...
