On this I completely agree.

But you are completely schizophrenic when it comes to Prog Metal - to simultaneously dislike Fullness of Time, but find Tyranny perfect is baffling to me.

I like both of those albums, but in fairness Tyranny is head and shoulders above Fullness of Time. And Shadow Gallery is a better band in my opinion.

I mentioned this in jingle's writeup but this is a metal cover of the music to a final boss battle in one of my favorite video games ever. The original song is already pretty metal, but it goes balls out with the synths and guitar solos. Prog metal along these lines is my shit. Go big or go home, man. Not everybody likes this stuff but to me this is the nerdiest, coolest stuff
