Detonation has booked its place in the last 16, and in fact has gone up to 2nd place thanks to its win over Luminol. Deform to Form A Star has missed out on claiming the best 4th-place finish with its defeat to group winner Routine. And Routine has joined Ancestral in claiming maximum points from the group stage.

While Refuge has finished 8 points clear of the rest of the field, there was a closely-fought battle for the remaining spots in Group E. In the end, People Who Eat Darkness and Index have emerged in 2nd and 3rd respectively, so they progress to the knockout stage. Index is the only song from either of SW's first two solo albums to make the last 16.
