Help finding a thread
« on: August 29, 2023, 06:14:12 PM »
I know there's a general music that doesn't own/needs its own thread.
But I have made multiple searches and can't find it.
Anyone care to share it?

This one? It was all the way back on Page 9 of this forum. I just checked every page going back and searched the page for a thread title containing the word "general" and this was the first one I found.

Guys I know there's also a thread for the band Of Mice & Men (that I probably started long ago) despite multiple searches I can't find it.
Is there a trick to get real results when searching for a specific term?

Lol...if you figure it out, let me know!

The 'search' function here has long been the bane of my existence, and I know I'm not alone!

For sure!

If you attempt to input a single-character phrase, such as "of mice & men," the system triggers an error. Interestingly, if you replace the "&" symbol with "and," the search yields an abundance of results where "and" is extensively employed.

While enclosing your search within double quotation marks does enhance precision to some degree, it remains inadequate in pinpointing the exact content you're seeking. To succinctly summarize, the search function indeed falls short of being sufficiently effective.
