It is, I chose to only ~~strikethrough~~ the ones that weren't in the actual roulette a.k.a. were cut in the preliminaries and from there started ranking them every round, so the participants list represents all the original participants, not just the current ones

I am 1 1/2 listens in and finishing the second tonight. Since we only have 6 left I'm gonna do writeups a bit different. Plain and simple: from best to worst countdown, and if I think 2 songs are close enough quality-wise I'll do them at the same time, but bottom 2 will obviously be at the same time.

I think I need a fair amount of listens to decide the winner because there's 3 truly great songs right now and they're pretty close. So count on a Thursday start of write-ups and Friday end, and then we'll do sending the next 2 1/2 days with a deadline of the end of the weekend my timezone. Subject to change of course if I somehow take slightly shorter or have to take slightly longer.

Also I encourage everyone to send leftovers because I'm a music nerd and I crave more music all the time. I recently made a RYM profile and am already rating some of that roulette music (and also trying to relisten to a lot of albums I'm already well familiar with to rate them for my profile). Will also post updates in the album thread about roulette albums but haven't gotten to it yet. The only ones I've listened to enough to rate were the top 2 entries from round 5 (OWEL - OWEL and Port Noir - Any Way the Wind Carries).

OWEL album is among the best stuff I've heard in the past few years, completely floored. Port Noir, while not on the same level, had a couple of songs that I found even better than Black from the Ink (Onyx and Diamond and maybe even one more, don't remember). There's also a few albums I've heard once (Loch Vostok, Enshine, Snarky Puppy, Obscure Sphinx, Eryn Non Dae.) but I want at least 3 ful listens before rating/commenting. Then there's a few songs I've been so hyped on that I haven't given the full albums enough time/attention to properly rate (Bear Ghost, Family Crest, Kaddisfly).

I think I'm completely caught up now
