If you level up enough, even logic can be defeated.
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Trumpets don't create music. Trumpets make annoying noise. Therefore they were legal.

While we're at it, how did all the characters learn to sing? Were Disney movies the only thing that weren't outlawed?
Jordan took Moore's boring, pedestrian parts and elevated them considerably to take them from barely palatable to stellar.

Okay... Then why does everyone have an awesome 5 piece backing band behind them at all times? And why does everyone singing sound like James Labrie from Dream Theater?

Those questions will be answered in The Astonishing 2: Sing, Sang, Sung and The Astonishing 3: Return To Heaven's Cove.

People figured out that the white thing that comes out of cows' titties could be drunk, and the relation between sweet desires and women's bellies growing up for 9 months. It can't be THAT hard to figure out how a trumpet works.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Yes, but why does a Gabriel sing a song about losing his voice immediately after losing it? And how does Daryus understands he is forgiven by his mother if he is deaf? And where's my pizza I ordered two hours ago?

He sings it all low, that's all he could actually do.

And how does Daryus understands he is forgiven by his mother if he is deaf?

Patting on the shoulder and warm smile.

And where's my pizza I ordered two hours ago?

Lost. Call back the restaurant.

If trumpet playing is innate knowledge, why aren't we all Wynton Marsalis?

And I had no idea Daryus was deaf. Learning that makes everything exactly the same.
Argument, the presentation of reasonable views, never makes headway against conviction, and conviction takes no part in argument because it knows.

 :lol

Supposedly he became deaf after Gabriel's scream on My Last Farewell
It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

Quick question, Dystopian Overture, 0:45 - this is a pretty nice guitar melody, does it return in other parts of the album? If so, where?

"Evangeline! I swore to you! To love and guide our son"

I always hear the words in my head when I listen to the overtures :p

A bigger mystery for me is why does Nefarious have such a downer on music yet sings his way through the whole thing?

Thanks! I haven't put on TA for ages, but listening to the overture made me realize that there are plenty of great melodies scattered around, and maybe there's a good album buried somewhere underneath all the boring stuff after all. If only it were half as long, and a tad heavier. Oh, well.
