Me too! Let the PTO begin. Though, it's gonna be bittersweet - moving the jingle.kids into residence. Son on Monday; daughter next Sunday.

jingle.son went to Greece/Italy on a school trip for 10 days last year, and we've been apart from them for a few vacations that mrs.jingle and I took together, but otherwise, yeah.

I sell a brand of carpet in my store called Dream Weaver. If I had a nickel for every time I accidentally wrote or said Dream Theater in its place by accident I'd have at least 2 dollars.

Time to wake up, I am beat from a late night out in Amsterdam last night (which was a blast even in the pouring rain) and then I went back for an afternoon tour of coffeeshops and good eats. Now in my hotel going to make a couple drinks before Justin Timberlake in the Ziggo Dome next to my hotel. The area is already crazy because of the soccer game in the arena, next to the dome, next to my hotel. Going to be a fun night, but I am so damn tired right now.

Howdy.

Took a walk up to a park above Ventura that was affected by the Thomas Fire. It's surreal to see the change in the landscape. This is one of my favourite spots in the city... for obvious reasons

(keep in mind that most of this was covered in brush and shit before the fire.

This (below) used to be a Botanical Gardens that I never got a chance to check out before the fire. It opened up right after the last time I came up to this spot. lol

Well, it's college move-in day for jingle.son. Got the truck packed last night - he has a 3-hour orientation this morning, then we're all heading down with all his shit to move him in after lunch (the college is only about a 45-60 minute drive away ... just far enough to NOT live at home, but close enough that he can come home whenever he wants - at least until we move in the winter/spring.

yyyuup! Sunday's gonna be worse when jingle.daughter moves in. Her school is about 90 minutes away, and we're gonna have to take two vehicles to take everything she needs (because her residence allows mini-fridges in the room), meaning mrs.jingle is gonna have to drive home looking through haze of tears.

mini fridge is a must in college! I still have my old mini in my basement, great for keeping a cool 12 pack available without taking the stairs to the main fridge.

jingle.son's residence style is like a mini 2-bedroom apt. Kitchenette (full sized fridge, but no stove), bathroom, 2 bedrooms - all separate rooms, but in it's own self-contained unit. So, he doesn't need a mini-fridge. College's up here don't usually have full-service food options (basically, just a small food court / cafeteria). jingle.daughter is going to a University, which has a full meal-plan and lots of food service locations/options. That's why she gets the mini-fridge (for leftovers and other drinks etc...).
