Yeah... really cool vid.

Just sitting here sipping my morning coffee courtesy of my SS - Hawaiian Coconut. Yum yum. Gonna chill this morning, then go to the gym. Company benefit pays up up to $320 for a gym membership, so I signed up at the college down the street - $250 for the year. Hella cheaper than the $600 that the 'big-name' clubs would charge, and just as good for my needs. First time in a gym in about 3 years. jingle.girls are baking banana bread today 44 loaves I think is what they have enough bananas for - yum yum to that too.

That video is amazing Blob. I love the attention to detail, the animations are spot on and even the physics when the Kongs jump look very much like in the original game.

I remember seeing a prototype a while ago of Jungle Hijinxs, did that turn into this or are you working on more DKC stuff?

I stopped halfway through making Jungle Hijinx and turned it into DKC2 instead, but I plan to finish that one off some time. I'm not very good at seeing projects through.

Pitfall was pretty cool for the time. Our first console was actually an Atari 2600 because we were way behind on everything in our house, so I played that game plenty, along with all of the other games, like Adventure, Pacman, Frogger, Space Invaders, etc.

Adventure was my favorite. One Christmas day 10 years ago my nephews got and updated Atari 2600 with a hundred games on it. So they're playing Maze Craze and they didn't know that if you press the button you can go faster. so I destroyed them. I told them that they are in my realm. Lol

Adventure was one of my favs too, but those damn dragons scared the fuck outta me on the harder difficulty.

(I called them ducks because they looked more like angry ducks)
I loved Maze Craze too, and even I don't remember the button making you go faster!

So many games I had fun with, along with about 100 that made no fucking sense whatsoever.

I had an atari when I was like 6 and never played Adventure either. Pitfall however I remember really well. River Raid was another I really liked.
