Back home from the dog park. My gf wants to put up the Christmas tree, I must be the only person who doesn’t like putting up a tree. I like it when it’s there but it’s a huge pain in the ass to do so.

Im not a fan of putting up the tree either, in fact, since my ex moved out 3 years ago, I hadn't put up a tree.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Insurance for the employees with a rep here.  Oh course these kids are clueless on what to do and never read up even though I give them the tools to do so. So in the end I will be here to hold their hand and walk them through it.

Stiff alright.   ;D  Fairly non-eventful... spent most of the day getting access to systems/applications, setting up my machine and phone, talking with my boss, and some intro's to team mates.  I did get scheduled into a planning session tomorrow, and calls most of the day on Wednesday, so my feet will be getting sloshy pdq.

Had a hell of a weekend. Spent two nights at Mohegan and saw TSO while I was there. Lost my shirt on a craps table, and when walking to the poker room, stopped at another craps table. I ended up winning back triple what I lost. I hate/love gambling. I'm glad I live 75-90 minutes from the casino, otherwise, I think I'd have a legitimate problem with sneaking out to there.

Made it to work in NJ today from Jacksonville this morning, I am so dead tired and not motivated to get work done.  Also really sucks to have spent 5 days with the whole family and now won't see any (besides my brother who lives with me) until Christmas.
