I know that but the place make great dishes.  I talked to Rumbo.  He'll be in Vermont.  He was upset he can't meet you.

I can find a place to eat Adami.  PM me where you will be in Boston.

No idea where yet. My interview is at Boston College so it'll be not too far from that. I know I arrive on the 26th at night and leave the 29th with the 27th being my full day free and then the 28th after my interview, so like after 3pm or so.

Make sure you drive by the old Aerosmith apartment on Commonwealth Ave., so that the hipster that lives there can walk by and look at you with the same barely disguised comtempt that he gave my daughter and I when we did the same (after her campus visit at BC).

Fun fact, since you brought up Aerosmith, I learned by listening to an old Howard Stern interview with Steven Adler this morning, Steven Tyler is hung like a donkey  :lol

Happy Friday to me, found Lagavulan 16 for under $70!  Now all tucked in to not venture out of the house until Tuesday!

You want to talk about neighborhood scorn, when we were out in San Fran last summer we went by the Full House house. They basically had signs posted all around for everyone to basically STFU. :lol
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

Not a vegan. I can actually eat at most places as long as they aren't almost entirely meat.

Although I have noticed a recent trend to erase vegetarians from consideration. Everything seems to be meat or vegan. Sucks for guys like me that just don't eat meat but don't live off veggies and weird vegan creations like beatloaf.

If you ever find yourself back in California and up in Ventura, you MUST try by buddy's restaurant. :JayOctavarium:
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Staying up late gaming was rewarding last night netting two blackout wins thanks to all the noobs playing the game since it's free for the weekend

Just drank my morning coffee as I watch some music videos before I start gaming again

-4F walking a half mile into the office this morning with the surrounding buildings acting like wind tunnels. Guy on the radio said the real feel is -22F.

I seriously can't remember ever feeling that cold.

I'm going to be doing some major blobbing today and tomorrow. I'm off today and I took tomorrow off as well due to how much work I've been doing the past two weeks.

56 degrees is basically the tropics.

I've gotten to the point where anything above 30 is considered warm enough.

Morning, all!

I learned a valuable lesson yesterday: while poblano peppers don't approach the heat levels of jalapenos, habs or anything else, you're still inviting yourself into a world of pain if you don't thoroughly wash your hands after chopping them before taking a leak.

People laugh, and people who haven't cooked think it's a joke, but it's not.  When my Home Chef recipes have jalapeņos
in them, they make it a point to say "wash down the knife and cutting board when you're done with the jalapeņo" and they're not kidding.   Hands, lips, eyes, balls, you touch them without being careful and you know it.
