I was in and out in less than 2 hours, and also managed to do grocery shopping.  I'm like a lion humping his lioness - efficient as fuck.  No wasted time.

About to head out to a big local ska show.  A local ska band called Catch 22 released an album "Keasbey Nights" 20 years ago and it was a pretty popular album in the ska world.  THe original singer left after the album and Catch 22 had some success but eventually disbanded meanwhile the singer formed another ska band called Streetlight Manifesto that is fairly popular in the ska world.  They are playing locally this weekend doing the entire Keasbey Nights album.  I've seen Catch 22 over 10 times when I was younger but never with the original singer and I've never seen Streetlight Manifesto so this seems like a perfect evening of going down memory lane while seeing a more new band.  Tomorrow they do an entire album of their own live which is sold out and I think tonight may sell out at the door.

Oh man Catch 22!!! I remember seeing them years ago!!! I'm trying to remember who played with them, or maybe the opened for someone? I remember seeing MEST and homebrew around that time.

I saw Breaking Benjamin and Steven Wilson at this same venue this month and neither came close to the energy in the venue as tonight with Streetlight Manifesto.

Agreed.  Watched 4 episodes of Travelers yesterday/today (in an effort to get caught up); saw Aquaman (10lbs of meh in a 5lb sack); and watched the Leafs game.  About to head to the bakery to get scones for Christmas morning. Maybe a couple for right now too!  

More Blobbing^TM today - jingle.ladies are doing the annual banana-bread-bake.  I think about 50 loaves - down from the usual 70-ish they do.

Also, Happy Festivus.  Feats of strength after dinner tonight.

  nice and my blobbing is mostly continueing today.  I've got to run out and get a few last minute christmas gifts, but my brother is leaving for Canada with his gf this afternoon and my gf just cancelled on me for tonight (says she has massive amounts of shopping to still do  ) so I'll be chilling tonight in my house all alone.  But damn, I was going to have her film me opening the SS gift tonight, I guess I'll just do it solo.  I had been waiting for something else to happen, thought it would happen today but I was surprised to see it go down yesterday so the only thing I am waiting now on was her so oh well, it'll be me and my cat filming it later.
