Two work-related bbq's - mrs.jingle's work stuff. Already packed up all of our firewood in the shed - 12 Costco tote-bags worth. Gonna tidy up the firewood beside the fireplace and make it look nice, then I gotta make a run to pickup some of the food for today's bbq.

Then back to doing more get-the-house-prepped-to-sell shit. Ya know, I should just sig this.

Morning peeps.

I had forgotten about the worst part of working an overnight shift... The Ocean.

Basically around 4am, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach in the distance (less than a mile from me in 2 different directions) is at the right volume to lull me to sleep. I used to live a block from the beach (down the street from where I work now), and slept with this sound every night.

I actually had trouble sleeping after we moved away from the beach. My stepmother actually bought me a CD that had 80 minutes waves crashing on it to help me sleep.

Speaking of sleep, fuck me I'm tired. I got 4 hours of sleep after work, but I won't let myself sleep any longer, as I need to be able to go to sleep at a decent hour tonight for work tomorrow.

Morning Folks.

Good news: My employee who collapsed last week is out of the hospital. Bad news: They found cancer in his neck, which caused everything.

Bad news: A women, who has been on a package theft spree around town (including on my property at work), got onto another part of the property last night. Good news: She crashed her car on property, and was arrested for DUI and theft (her car was full of stolen mail).

It's not even 9:30 on Monday morning yet.... This is going to be a hell of a week.

2. Got soaked walking into work.
3. Temp smelled of weed. (Wal Mart called me on that)

We had a kid show up at orientation last week baked. They still hired him. He was being hired for my department but I refused. I told my manager to find somewhere else in the building to put him.

He's a temp making 8 dollars an hour. He could make $11.25 plus weekly incentives for how much you do that can raise you to max at $14.

Him getting high is more important and I will not be able to hire him.

I wonder if this is going to be taped for MTV. Their wedding is in November that I am going to as well, which is being paid for by MTV so I imagine that will definitely make it to TV at some point.

Some of you will vouch, but I like my vodka. A lot. But not on company time. Not because I might be impaired (even though that's part of it) but I don't want one person in my department or among my clients to think I'm bringing anything less than my best. Eloquis.
