Nice!

I'm excited for your new house Jingle, I can't imagine moving though. It was such a pain in the ass to move into my house now I don't think I'd ever want to do it again.

We've started the 'packing up' process to declutter our current house in preparation for getting it on the market.  Gonna be a monumental task.  Our last house, we were in 2.5 years, at the time we got married and had the jingle.kids.  I thought we had accumulated a ton of shit then!  hahaha... 17 years later, we've got a metric shit-ton more stuff.

Isn't crazy how quickly the amount of shit you have grows? I moved from a 2bed 1000sqft apartment to a 3bed 3000sq ft house and within six months it was packed full of crap.

As I was saying, new production:

I am playing Orpheus, who's supposed to play violin in hell. Since I can't play the violin but I'm directing this shit, I think it's time to unleash the Cerberus Guitar:

I need lots and lots of coffee today, but although my struggle to get out of bed was ridiculous, I did manage to get my car pass inspection before coming to work today (not that passing inspection is difficult in NJ, just more so of having to go deal with the DMV).  Need to survive today and get to the Ozzy concert tonight with the last of my energy before sleeping on my flight in the morning and hoping that's enough to survive work in Denver tomorrow.  I'm going to be on fumes, but at least I've been having a lot of fun these last couple of weeks.  :yarr

It sounds like a lot of fun but exhausting. People are already starting to freak out about this hurricane here in Charlotte, I get to listen to that talk all week long.

Morning guys.

I got no sleep last night. Just as I was falling asleep at around 11, I received a call from my night shift lead. One of my guys had collapsed and was found by a passerby. He's in the ICU right now.  I'm going to the hospital in a few hours.

OH ALSO one of our main computers took a shit over the weekend. It's funny, because we've been having trouble with it for 6 months, and our tech guy even recommended replacing it, but the higher ups said "Nah bro". Welp, now I get to suffer the consequences.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Today was really tough, after an hour delay on the tarmac I finally made it to Denver and to my 5 pallets of equipment to install and 30 boxes of parts to replace on broken servers.  I busted my ass through 3 pallets and had to call it a day, I am out of gas.  It's only 8:40pm here and it feels like 4am or something.  This after all the busy (yet fun) shit I've been doing, is when it really comes to bite me in the ass.  I saw on Instagram this morning that 311 was playing an hour away from my hotel in Colorado Springs.  I instantly was like DAMN IM THERE, and well, I'm in bed in my hotel so that sucks, but this is much needed.

Worked 15 hours yesterday and resolved 18 issues, I was fucking on fire.  Felt great.  And just got an email from Dell updating us that sadly my shipment for my storage rack got delayed until next week, womp womp.  That was my main project to build that storage rack.  Oh well, looks like I now have little to do the next two days, which means I am free tonight to see the Alice in Chains concert tonight  :metal Man getting one good night sleep the other night lead to such a great change of events

Are you in the path of the really bad weather?

I got a super busy weekend ahead - couple of work things with/for mrs.jingle, while trying to get more packing and prep-work done with the house.  Photographer is coming over on Monday to take outside pictures of the house/property while the foliage is still looking nice, so I got a decent amount of outdoor work to do on Sunday.

We aren’t no, we will get a lot of rain but I don’t think it’ll be much more than that.

Are you going to be doing drone shots of your house?

Not sure... I think it'd be cool, but I'm not fussed about it.  A couple of sections of our 16 year old roof are in so-so shape (though 80% of it looks brand freakin new), so it might be more detrimental than beneficial.

My weekend doesn't start soon either.  I'll likely come in tomorrow morning before my flight home at 3pm.  Should be home (which is technically the end of my work day) at 10pm tomorrow.  But at least tomorrow is easy, just kind of cleaning up my mess I made here and then traveling.

Really looking forward to trying the call of duty open beta when I get home tomorrow night, I can't believe I actually said that, but the new blackout mode looks really fun.

I had a thought earlier today. What is blackout is good, what if they sold it stand alone for say $20, would you buy it?

Of course, but if it plays and is as fun as it looks, I'm likely spending full price and I might not be mad about it.  We'll see.
