Like I said, I've watched a bunch of their stuff on youtube, and they really look fantastic live. I really haven't liked anything they've played, so while I could easily make it through a concert, I could never make it through an album. I've tried.

Seems like it's been awhile since I had a Saturday home to myself. Finally did a good clean to my bedroom and built my new super nice bed frame that was given to me. My bedroom has been upgraded and finally got the parts to the frame out of my living room. Prepped a few new youtube gaming videos as well, and now just made a cocktail and about to enjoy some gaming.

Custom maps? Never heard of these, but do you mean custom games in the newest update? I haven't done any. I just keep playing on sanhok a lot, i think it's the best map yet.

It's nice to be away from home

My gf's dad's significant other runs an annual bowling tournament in memory of her deceased ex husband (they used to own a local bowling alley). Had a BBQ on Friday, and then spent the first half of Saturday out with my gf and my sister, and then the second half bowling. Didn't bowl well... at all. It actually cements my decision to stop bowling league. I am still having major issues with my hand and wrist. Sunday was also nonstop.

I am hoping that today at work is slow.

The HOA I work for fired their old property management and hired a new one.. and we are in the middle of the "transition"... which is NOT going smoothly at all. Apparently the management companies have a history with each other and do NOT get along... and the incoming management company didn't really have a clue what they were getting themselves into... meaning the person who is holding a lot of this together is me. New company needs info. Old company (who's still on contract till the end of the month) won't give it to them. I have shit I need management to do. They bounce it back to me because they don't know what's going on. It's a mess.

I finished a whole world of Donkey Kong Country 1 (on a real SNES), and am currently animating a character doing the Macarena for reasons I have yet to figure out or justify, so I'm actually getting a lot of important shit done today thank you very much!

Fuck this day.

So I am 2 blocks from work, and I shred a tire (my 2 front tires were both worn down to the point where I knew this was going to happen sooner or later). I drive the last block and a half and park at the edge of my property. I put the spare on, and realize that the spare needed air. So I decide that I am going to take the spare off, walk it over to my office, and use our air compressor to put air in it.

Welp... one of the lugs wouldn't come off now. So I decide to try and drive it over to my office, at least close enough where I can use our long as fuck extension cable to plug in the compressor and pump up my tire. ANNNNNNNNND turns out my donut is bad and wont hold air. So I try again to take the donut off and diagnose why it's not holding air.. and I break a lug stem.

So here I am with a shredded tire, bad donut, broken lug stem, and I'm so broke right now that I'm barely going to be able make my bills for the week and keep gas in the car.

My coworker actually ran to a used tire shop and paid get me a tire ($35)... so I at least have that to get me to and from work until I can replace the lug stem, which shouldn't be more than $50.

Also... I can barely use my hand, as I had to put a lot of force with my bad hand to get the tire off in the beginning.

Fuck me. It's not even 9:30 yet.

On a more positive note, I just finished a call with our company legal/HR because of an ongoing investigation about a former team-member (who I barely knew) and allegations against one of our C-level executives (before they were a C-level exec).
