I'm doing better. Between my daughter being sick for the last month and a half and studying for the CCIE, I barely have time to breathe. She's finally feeling better so I'm able to stop stressing about that...for now.

I worked the holiday yesterday afternoon. Thankfully it was quiet. How have you been?

Pretty good, just doing the usual work thing. I got moved up in my job so now I"m doing some project management which included Salesforce integration with some of our other software, that coupled with constant server issues I've been busy.

When are you thinking of taking the CCIE?

I'm not sure yet. I haven't been giving it the right amount of attention, but that needs to change. It's not one of those things that can be done at half speed. I read an article about the exam. It's listed as one of the toughest exams in the world. The first time passing percentage is 1%. $:-\$

I actually didn't hate the wait for the FOP. There was so much cool stuff along the way. We went the week after the hurricane last September, so the longest we had to wait was like an hour and fifteen minutes or so. The fourth time we didn't have to wait at all. We went out the exit and were escorted right back to the front because Victoria's glasses were missing a lens. She didn't notice until the ride started.

My issue with the FOP line is that there was no fucking bathrooms once you get in the building. Shameful.

The river ride kind of blew, but I'm not really into Avatar. But I could appreciate the ridiculous amount of detail.

I loved the river ride, but the line for that one was beyond miserable.

Not having bathroom in the building leading up Flight of Passage is hard to wrap my head around, especially seeing as they designed that queue to hold hold a 6 hour line. There's that one section when you're transitioning from the cave to the outside of the ruined building where there are water fountains. It blows my mind that a bathroom wasn't put there as well.

Yea they should have a bathroom. If they can have a concession stand on line (I only saw this for the river ride) then I dont see why they wouldn't put a bathroom but maybe that creates conflicts with people on the line.

On the plane home. Gave my gf my first class upgrade seat and in return I am in the last row with a seat I can't push back

Cant wait to get into my bed in a few hours. I have an insane amount of photos and video to start going through as well today.

Back at work after almost 2 weeks off. They flew in my coworker from LA while I was gone to get all the work done apparently. He did a great job and now that I am back, I don't have a whole lot to do atm. I've just been reading emails and catching up all morning, but my motivation is low. Just can't wait till 6pm so I can gtfo.

Big metal concert in my backyard tonight and the venue just released set times:

Testament 5-5:35pm
Behemoth 5:55-6:30pm
Anthrax 6:55-7:35pm
Lamb of God 8-8:50pm
Slayer 9:20-11pm

Going to be a long day of boozing and thrash. What's awesome about this concert (besides being so close to home) is a bunch of my friends are going including some who never go to concerts. Should be fun getting these guys out to a show, maybe it'll convince them to come out more often. I only have a couple friends who like similar music to me and none of them ever have interest in going to shows.
