Avatar ride was insane. I had a tear coming out of my eye (well I think cause I didnt blink but it seriously was amazing).   We are done with the rides though, waiting for a bus to Epcot to get our food and drink on.

I love Epcot.   Last time I was there (a couple weeks ago) there was a bad-ass bloody Mary in Canada, and there's this milky drink with tequila in Mexico that was bomb (though too much  like eggnog to drink out in the hot sun).

I've never tried a mixed drink in Mexico. I usually go sit in that bar off to the right side at the bottom of the stairs and order a flight of shots. Where did you pick up the "milky tequila" drink, Stads?

Right where you were sitting.   When I went last, there was a line, so you had to wait and go in to the bar to order, but it's right there.

Okay, cool.

You talking about the FOP? Did you do the river ride too?

I actually didn't hate the wait for the FOP. There was so much cool stuff along the way. We went the week after the hurricane last September, so the longest we had to wait was like an hour and fifteen minutes or so. The fourth time we didn't have to wait at all. We went out the exit and were escorted right back to the front because Victoria's glasses were missing a lens. She didn't notice until the ride started.

FOP, we did the river ride too, but I'd say that wasn't worth the wait.  It was advertised as 75 minutes, I think it was closer to 90 and it was a miserable line to wait in, while in comparison the FOP line was really awesome to experience and made the wait not seem so bad.

My issue with the FOP line is that there was no fucking bathrooms once you get in the building. Shameful.

The river ride kind of blew, but I'm not really into Avatar. But I could appreciate the ridiculous amount of detail.

The trip has been documented but not so much the storm. Kind of uninteresting since it's just non stop rain. The rain didnt stop us from riding the airboat through the Everglades but these were supposed to be our beach days and our snorkeling trip tomorrow. The pool is open at the hotel  may just chill in the pouring pool  :lol

Might as well.  Wet is wet.  I remember golfing once and it started as a drizzle, but by like the 5th/6th hole, it was a full downpour.  When we got to the turn, I asked my (then) boss 'wanna just pack it in?'.  He responded "why, it's not like we can get any wetter".  So we finished a full 18.   :lol

Yea, that was yesterday.  Just so drenched even in our ponchos that when the airboat stopped in the middle of no where in the Everglades, the guide jumped into the water and asked if anyone else wanted to.  I couldn't get any wetter so I was the only one to volunteer to go in.  That was a cool experience.

We were supposed to spend 3 nights here but the hotel is letting us cancel if we want so we may just spend the day here and go back to Jacksonville tomorrow tomorrow a day earlier to see my parents.

Everywhere.  But that spot was fine, I think.  :lol  Also, it was cool to know there had never been an aligator attack in the park before.  They are pretty docile and uninterested in humans.  We got close to many.  It's only when people feed them that they become aggressive towards humans, which is a $5k fine.
