Just got word from the bossman that we can take off 2 hours early today

Anyone got anything exciting going on this weekend? V and I decided this year that we weren't going to buy each other stuff for valentines day. Instead, on Saturday, we're going to an adult super store and buying a bunch of new stuff (toys, outfits, etc). Then we're going to head to the casino, get sauced, and degrade every corner of the hotel room. Should be a good time

Other than getting sauced tonight, my only other plans this weekend are 1) finishing Altered Carbon; 2) working out; 3) shaving the dogs. Sadly, the last one is not a euphemism at all. Literally, shaving my 2 pooches.

Hopefully some of you will remember this, but as I read Chino's post, all I can think of is that episode of the Office where they went to a conference or something, and Michael Scott was going to throw a "party" in his room and he brought a black light. He turned it on and there was a huge "sploosh" mark over the headboard.

Bri, here's hoping that Sunday morning is an exhausted, breathless recovery period.

I've been feeling so stressed and exhausted lately from work. I'm having a relaxing night in with a drink and

Hanging with the gf tomorrow then going to Denver Sunday morning for a week of work out there. Amazingly, the work load is much less for Denver than my home data center so it might actually be a relaxing trip and really help with my stress atm.

So if there are any Canadians hanging around these parts I could use some quick help with something. I'm trying to steel broadcasting from y'alls fine national broadcasting network to watch the Olympics. I'm coming up with a generic "technical difficulties" message on any live stream or replay that I click. Most likely it's related to my VPN provider, but I suppose it's possible that somebody got fucked up on Molson and borked the whole thing. Could somebody with a proper Canadian ISP check and see if the streaming actually is working right now? Here's one featuring one of y'alls cute Canadian curling girls.

Howdy all. Took today off from work and have spent it doing fuck-all so far. About to go put some pants on and head into the city for my club's homebrew competition. One judging session tonight, two more tomorrow, and then the awards ceremony Saturday night. Probably in for a quiet Sunday

Yup, that's pretty much what I figured. Thanks. And even the replay vids are geo-locked. Can't watch any of it. Have a ticket in with my VPN, so hopefully they'll get something straightened out.

I can't catch any of it here. If you don't have some sort of paid TV NBC won't let you watch. I can watch the OTA broadcasts during prime-time, but those generally suck. Besides, I'd rather watch some of those cute curlers than the stupid opening ceremony. This is one of the few ways the old guard have left to stick it to us cord-cutters.

Ah true. I did put on curling last night, was just flipping channels since I've yet to cut the cord, and a guy on the korean team fell by tripping over one of the "pucks" I don't recall the name of the thing they push on the ice and I know they are not called pucks. I was laughing so hard
